This battery is a drop-in replacement for old generation lead VRLA, AGM or OPZ sealed lead acid batteries in 12V. The electrical parameters of this lithium ion battery are identical to those of the lead batteries and no additional accessories are required (as long as the charging system doesn’t exceed the maximum charge current).
This LiFePO4 chemistry provides high-level safety and fast-charging performance. The built-in battery management system (BMS) controls the key operational parameters of this 12 volt battery 20ah and ensures overcharge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuit protection for thousands of cycles.
The battery case is made of non-conductive ABS plastic or styrene, providing excellent resistance to shock, chemicals and heat. It is valve regulated and spill proof for trouble free operation in any position. The BMS embeds smart balancing algorithms that control cell voltages in the battery to guarantee highest performance. This battery can be hooked up 4 in parallel for increased capacity and can be stored in any position (except upside-down). It has a very low self-discharge rate and can be operated at higher storage temperatures for an extended life.
